Mission and Vision

Stephanie J. Lau established the LiveLoveLau Foundation in 2013 to reflect her commitment to helping bereaved children find lasting solutions to college financial challenges.

Vision: Our ultimate goal is to provide financial assistance to bereaved children who are entering college, who strive for academic achievement.

Mission: The mission of LiveLoveLau Foundation is to encourage resolution,  tenacity,  and  assist young adults who have lost a parent/parents to sudden illness, unexpected or tragic death with the assistance of college scholarships to help aid in the financial burden that may arise due to college tuition. Each candidate must also demonstrate compelling/financial need with a strong sense of family and collegiate promise. Grades, essays, and financial need all play into the decision to award the scholarship, and the scholarship can be renewed each year with the appropriate paperwork as long as the student is making progress toward a degree. This scholarship fund is meant to be used towards educational/college expenses including tuition, room and board, and textbooks.

More information about scholarship guidelines can be found under the students and families tab.

The application can be downloaded online and the deadline is mid-January. Awards are announced in May and must be accepted in writing within 10 days of notification.

LiveLoveLau is devoted to helping bereaved children through the financial burden of the loss of their parent. We believe that every child has the right to a college education by the wishes of their departed loved one. Since we cannot ease the burden of suffering, we hope to ease the financial one.

LiveLoveLau is grateful for donations provided by individuals, foundations and companies. All services are free of charge.
